Professional Biography

Professor Keith E. Muller leads the design and analysis of health outcomes and policy research studies. Professor Muller has NIH funding from NIDCR, NIAA, NIDDK, and NIDA. He serves as the Head of the Statistics & Data Core for the SE Center for Research to Reduce Disparities in Oral Health. His journal publications are split roughly equally between scientific collaborations and biostatistical methodology developments. In addition Professor Muller has coauthored three current books on the theory and practice of linear models.

Personal Methodology Research

Professor Muller serves as principal investigator of 1R01DE020832-01A1, Multilevel and Longitudinal Study Sample Size Tools for Behavioral Scientists (12/09/10-11/30/14, ~$2.2M total funding). Co-investigators include Dr. D. H. Glueck (UCD), H.N. Logan (UF) and M. M. Maldonado-Molina (UF). He and colleagues also pursue advances in adaptive designs and High Dimension, Low Sample Size (more variables than participants).
