On Monday, February 11, Dr. Alexander Wagenaar was a speaker at the RAND Conference and Webcast on Public Health Regulations for Marijuana. The purpose of the conference was to raise awareness of the multitude of regulatory issues facing agencies trying to design comprehensive marijuana policy in states such as Colorado and Washington. The discussion had a special focus on how existing alcohol and tobacco regulations influence youth access and minimize public health harms, and how such policies could be used as models for the regulation of Marijuana.
