Dr. Kelli Komro has been selected to receive a University of Florida Research Foundation Professorship Award. The three-year professorship recognizes faculty who have established a distinguished record of research, who play a key role in the University’s growing emphasis on graduate education, and whose scholarship is expected to lead to continuing distinction.

Dr. Komro’s research focuses on designing and evaluating community-wide strategies to promote health and well-being among disadvantaged children and adolescents.  Her outstanding research record is highlighted by her over 80 publications, numerous awards, and over $30 million in NIH funding.
