The State of Florida contracts with our institute to evaluate its Florida KidCare Children’s Health Insurance Program. KidCare offers Florida’s low-income families the opportunity to purchase low cost insurance for children without coverage.
Our team provides the service of analyzing the performance of the Florida KidCare Program. Florida KidCare is a low-cost insurance program in Florida for children needing health care coverage. It incorporates the four offerings of Medicaid, MediKids, Florida Healthy Kids and the Children’s Medical Services (CMS) Health Plan.
We confirm the program’s quality by conducting research and analysis on health insurance services, the demographics and characteristics of its children and families, and an overall assessment of the operation of the Florida KidCare Program. An annual report is submitted to the Florida legislature.
